 Childbirth Classes

My Goal is to educate and empower parents to make informed decisions about pregnancy, labor & birth, focusing on a woman's innate ability to give birth, with out pain management strategies, and preparation for confidence and skills in managing breastfeeding and early parenting techniques.

Classroom includes - lecture, group discussion, question and answer sessions, watching videos, models & charts, couple participation with breathing, relaxation, and fitness techniques; massage techniques, acupressure, and many other participant focused activities during the class time. Classes also include:

  • The signs of labor
  • The normal progress of labor and birth
  • Techniques for coping with pain
  • How your partner can help you during labor
  • The Bradley Method®
  • Importance of nutrition and exercise
  • Relaxation techniques to manage pain
  • Labor rehearsals
  • How to avoid a cesarean birth
  • Postpartum care
  • Breastfeeding
  • Guidance for coach/doula about supporting and advocating for the mother

Lactation Support
Breastfeeding classes are very benificial to pregnant mommas and as couples when after the baby comes for support. I personally had every problem when it came to nursing so I decided to take control and become a certified lactation educator so I could help women if they have the same problems. The classes well include:
